ERM Community Center was started by a small group of believers who saw the needs of arriving Ecuadorian families in Queens — and could not look away. What began as bags of groceries handed out from a church basement has grown into six full programs touching food, education, immigration, business, recovery, and faith. El Centro Comunitario ERM fue iniciado por un pequeño grupo de creyentes que vieron las necesidades de las familias ecuatorianas que llegaban a Queens — y no pudieron mirar a otro lado. Lo que comenzó como bolsas de comida entregadas desde el sótano de una iglesia ha crecido en seis programas completos que atienden comida, educación, inmigración, negocios, recuperación y fe.
We are not a relief organization. We are neighbors helping neighbors, in the name of Christ, with the practical love that James 2:16 calls us to: meeting the body before we feed the soul. No somos una organización de socorro. Somos vecinos ayudando a vecinos, en el nombre de Cristo, con el amor práctico al que Santiago 2:16 nos llama: cuidar del cuerpo antes de alimentar el alma.

Our work is the gospel made visible — practical, present, and patient with every family who walks in. Nuestro trabajo es el evangelio hecho visible — práctico, presente y paciente con cada familia que entra.
Every person bears God's image. We never ask for papers, never judge stories, and never charge a fee. Cada persona lleva la imagen de Dios. Nunca pedimos papeles, nunca juzgamos historias, nunca cobramos.
Most of our volunteers, leaders, and board are themselves immigrants. We serve from the inside out. La mayoría de nuestros voluntarios, líderes y junta son también inmigrantes. Servimos desde adentro.
